Hi, I’m Natalie Escobedo Jiménez, a 20-year-old photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty, emotion, and stories found in everyday moments.
My love for photography began when I was very young. I have always been fascinated by the idea that a photograph can preserve a memory long after a moment has passed — not only showing what a place or experience looked like, but also bringing back how it felt.
My first camera was a white Fujifilm Instax Mini, and it quickly became something I carried everywhere. I loved the anticipation of watching each photograph develop in my hands and having a physical memory of that exact moment. Whether I was exploring somewhere new or traveling with my family, my camera was always with me, encouraging me to notice the little details, places, and experiences I wanted to remember.
As I grew older, that curiosity became a deeper passion. Wanting to understand photography beyond instinct, I decided to study it more intentionally and enrolled in a photography course at Escuela EFE, where I began developing my technical skills and discovering my own perspective behind the camera.
Today, photography is my way of observing the world. I am especially drawn to travel, architecture, landscapes, and the small details that give each place its own identity. Through my photographs, I hope to preserve more than beautiful scenes — I want to capture the atmosphere, character, and feeling of being there.
For me, every photograph is a way of holding onto a moment that would otherwise pass, and every journey is an opportunity to tell a new story through my lens.
